What is the MIL-DTL-38999 connector series?
MIL-DTL-38999 connectors are high performance cylindrical connectors designed for demanding aerospace and avionic circumstances. They are constructed to withstand shock, high vibration, corrosive conditions, high electromagnetic interference (EMI), high radio-frequency interference (RFI), pressure extremes and wide temperature ranges. The series was adapted for fiber optics using the size 16 contact. It is a great candidate for hybrid (opto/electrical) requirements and optimum fiber optic solution for all defense and aerospace applications.
