DCE
(1) Data circuit-terminating equipment is the equipment that performs functions at the network end of a line between data terminal equipment, like Signal conversion and coding. (2) Data Communications equipment refers to any equipment connecting data terminal equipment, allowing data Transmission between the equipment.
