Timbercon, Inc., a fiber optic connectivity solution manufacturer headquartered in Lake Oswego, Oregon was named for the eighth consecutive year as one of Oregon’s fastest growing private businesses by The Portland Business Journal. Timbercon is ranked 51st on the annual list of 100 Oregon businesses for 2008. The Portland Business Journal’s Fastest Growing Private 100 is an annually generated list of privately held companies whose growth represents the best in the region. In order to be considered for the list, a company must have been in business for a minimum of three years and have 2006 revenues of at least $500,000.

“We are pleased that we have been able to maintain our steady growth and receive recognition from the Portland Business Journal for the last eight years. We are positioned to continue our growth, even during these chaotic economic times, and hope to be included in next year’s list of the fastest growing companies in Portland” said Eric Meslow, President and CEO.

In addition, Timbercon has received awards from other prestigious sources such as The Deloitte Technology Fast 500, Inc. Magazine’s 5000 fastest growing private companies, The Portland Business Journal’s top 25 fastest growing technology and software companies, and was a finalist for the 2008 Tom Holce Award, Growth Division, by the Oregon Entrepreneurs Network.
