Timbercon Continues to Grow

Timbercon, Inc., a fiber optic product and solution manufacturing company headquartered in Lake Oswego, Oregon, announced today several promotions and additions across multiple departments. Timbercon has continually added employees in 2008 to support the private company’s growth strategy and meet market demands. In addition to recent additions they are currently recruiting for the engineering department and production management staff.

Ed Holz, Quality Control Manager
Holz has been an independent consultant with Timbercon since July of 2007 and has been hired to the position of Quality Control Manager. Prior to Timbercon Holz was a Quality Assurance Engineer with Coorstek and previous to that a Quality Manager with RAD Technologies. Holz has had extensive training with lean manufacturing and quality control certification processes and is leading Timbercon in the achievement of their ISO 9001:2000 and AS9100B certifications, which are expected to be complete in August of 2008. Holz is also a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).

Kevin Hansen, Engineer
Hansen began with Timbercon as an intern since October of 2007 and has been hired on as a full time member of the Engineering Department. Hansen holds his Masters of Science in Applied Physics from the University of Oregon where he also received his Bachelors of Science in Physics. Hansen will specialize in research and development of new technology at Timbercon.

Dan Forrester, Director of Information Technology
Forrester joined Timbercon in 2008 as the Director of Information Technology. Forrester was previously the Systems Administrator/Engineer at The Oswego Group. Forrester received his Bachelors of Science in Information Technology from the University of Phoenix. Forrester holds certifications as a Microsoft Certified Partner, Apple Certified Systems Engineer, Microsoft Small Business Server Specialist, and WatchGuard Certified System Professional and is a member of Microsoft TechNet and Microsoft Systems Developers Network.

Timbercon continues to focus on the delivery of first class customer service and has made it an objective to grow its core talent to better meet this level of service. “Timbercon continues to grow and search for new talent to enhance our company.
