Timbercon Announces Preferred Supplier Award from BAE Systems
Timbercon, Inc., a fiber optics product and solutions manufacturing company, received a Preferred Supplier 2010-2011 Award from BAE Systems at a ceremony in Nashua, New Hampshire.
Anne E. Parkhurst, Cable and Harness Commodity Manager for BAE Systems, presented the award to Timbercon’s John Lee Jr., Vice President Sales and Marketing. The preferred supplier status is for Timbercon’s fiber optic cable assemblies and optical connectivity design capabilities.
“Timbercon has been working with BAE Systems for a number of years on a wide variety of fiber optic applications. We are very proud to be approved as a Preferred Supplier for fiber optic solutions by BAE Systems,” stated John Lee. “This recognition will help demonstrate to all of our customers, our commitment to quality, on-time-delivery, and the development of innovative technical solutions.”
Timbercon maintains a fully ITAR compliant manufacturing facility in Portland, OR and has recently completed its three year certification audit for AS-9100B and ISO9001-2008. In October 2011, Timbercon will be audited to the AS-9100C revision level.
