Timbercon Announces Immediate Availability of Military Fiber Optic Products and Assemblies
PORTLAND, OR – December 23, 2003 – Timbercon, Inc., an industry leader in the supply and manufacturing of custom fiber optic products and solutions announces immediate availability of MIL-DTL-3899 and MIL-T-29504 terminated fiber optic products and assemblies.
Timbercon utilizes high-reliability fiber optic connectors, to produce precision alignment of optical fibers. Connectors with polarization keys and keyways are manufactured to exacting tolerances to reduce radial misalignment and insertion loss. Timbercon military specific connectors also incorporate a bottoming surface to ensure reliable shell-to-shell connection. This attribute ensures the linear dimensional relationship of the contact termini are the same.
