BAE Systems Honors Timbercon with a Supplier of the Year Award
Timbercon among top award recipients recognized at fifth annual ‘Partner 2 Win’ Supplier Symposium
Tualatin, Ore. – March 29, 2022 – Timbercon today announced it received a BAE Systems ‘Partner 2 Win’ Supplier of the Year Award for Electronic Combat Solutions for exceptional performance and contributions to supply chain success for BAE Systems, Inc.’s Electronic Systems sector. Timbercon was honored at a virtual ceremony and was selected from the pool of suppliers that worked with BAE Systems in 2021.
“For more than a decade, we have worked to create custom cable assemblies for BAE Systems, Inc.,” said Bob Minnick, BAE Systems account manager at Timbercon. “We are proud of the work we have done and the relationship our teams have built that has culminated in this Supplier of the Year award. Our team has worked to ensure the quality of our products through the years so that customers like BAE Systems can trust our knowledge and expertise.”
The ‘Partner 2 Win’ program is designed to achieve operational excellence and eliminate defects in its supply chain by raising the bar of performance expectations to meet the demand of current and future customers. As part of the program, BAE Systems meets regularly with its suppliers to transfer best practices to ensure that the components and materials that compose BAE Systems products meet the highest quality standards.
