Timbercon Announces Polarization Maintaining (PM) Coupler / Splitters
Timbercon, Inc., a fiber optic product and solution manufacturing company, announced today the availability of Polarization Maintaining (PM) coupler / splitters for a wide variety of applications and industries. Timbercon has consistently provided custom solutions for many applications and has now standardized the most common configurations in coupler / splitters.
Timbercon coupler / splitters are used to either combine two (2) or more signals into one (1) or split one (1) signal into multiple paths. They are available in 1×2, 1×3, 1×4, 1×8, 2×2, and 2×4 configurations with all industry standard fiber optic connectors – typically FC and FC / APC. Wavelengths supported include: 1550nm, 1310nm, 1060nm, 980 / 960nm, 780nm, and 633nm. Custom wavelengths, connectors and configurations can be discussed with an Account Manager. Each PM coupler / splitter can be purchased in either a ruggedized plastic housing with 3mm leads or a low profile stainless steel tube for high density equipment requirements. In addition to the standard PM coupler / splitter configurations, Timbercon still offers customized solutions for virtually any fiber optic application.
