LAKE OSWEGO, OR – December 27, 2004 – Timbercon, Inc., an industry leader in the supply and manufacturing of custom fiber optic products and solutions, announced today a corporate initiative focused on achieving RoHS compliance for all Timbercon products prior to July 1, 2006.

This plan addresses the establishment and implementation of Timbercon policies and procedures to ensure Timbercon and Timbercon vendor compliance with the requirements of RoHS directives 2002/95/EC and 2002/96/EC by deadline mandated by the European Union.
