Cost Effective & Easy to Use

Timbercon manufactures a complete line of electrical loopback solutions supporting SFP (Small Form Factor Pluggable), SFP+, QSFP+ and QSFP28 transceiver form factors. Timbercon loopback products support Gigabit Ethernet (2.25Gbps, 4Gbps, 10Gbps, 40Gbps and 100Gbps), Fibre Channel (4Gbps, 8Gbps, 16Gbps), and Infiniband (2.5Gbps, 5Gbps, 10Gbps, 14Gbps) protocols.

Electrical loopbacks are used for a variety of testing, diagnostics, and measurement applications from single port testing to board, hub, and system level testing that requires Tx to Rx port testing. Since the loopback module does not contain laser diodes, photodiodes, laser driver or transimpedance amplifier chips, etc., the loopbacks provide an economical way to exercise ports during R&D validation, production testing and field testing.
