TIMBERCON APPOINTS JOHN J. LEE JR. TO VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

PORTLAND, OR – January 5, 2004 – Timbercon, Inc. announces the appointment of John J. Lee Jr. to the Vice President of Sales position. Mr. Lee will focus on developing resources and opportunities for Timbercon, ensuring continued success for the company.
John Lee Jr. brings to Timbercon a very high level of expertise in high technology and process automation. His extensive experience with fiber optics, electro-optical engineering, laser technology, and mechanical automation provide a solid background for Mr. Lee in building Timbercon’s sales force.

In this position, Mr. Lee will oversee strategic sales planning, business development, increasing market share, diversifying customer base, and all sales departmental operations. John Lee Jr. will pioneer this new position within the company.
