Timbercon Promotes Mr. Mark Krowiak as Vice President Operations

LAKE OSWEGO, OR - July 1, 2010 – Timbercon, Inc., a fiber optic product and solutions manufacturing company, announced today the promotion of Mr. Mark Krowiak to its new position of Vice President of Operations from his previous position as Production Manager which he has held the last six (6) months.

Mr. Krowiak will be responsible for all aspects of production, scheduling, materials and Process Engineering management. “Mark has demonstrated the ability to quickly improve our production capabilities and on-time delivery,” said Eric Meslow, President of Timbercon, “the creation of an operations function will allow Mark to influence a broader scope of our company and enhance our ability to support our customers.”


Mr. Krowiak brings twenty (20) years experience in fiber optic product manufacturing and engineering disciplines to Timbercon. Prior to Timbercon, Mr. Krowiak served as Technical Director for Stratos Optical Technologies, a subsidiary of Emerson Network Power Systems. During seven (7) years, he led Engineering, R&D and Manufacturing. Mr. Krowiak also held multiple positions, over a fourteen (14) year tenure at Corning Inc. in New York, where he was instrumental in passive fiber optic product development and manufacturing process implementation.


Mr. Krowiak received a B.S. and M. S. in Industrial Systems Engineering from Binghamton University in New York.
