Timbercon Expands Sales Force with the Addition of Nolan Pitts, Key Account Manager for South/Southeast Region

LAKE OSWEGO, OR - January 31, 2006 - Timbercon, Inc. has expanded it's sales force with the appointment of Mr. Nolan Pitts as Key Account Manager. Mr. Pitts will be tasked with account management, business development customer base diversification, and market share growth. Additionally, Mr. Pitts will be responsible for managing Timbercon's Greenville, SC Sales office.

Mr. Pitts brings to Timbercon over 5 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management of fiber optics products throughout North America. "Nolan's background, experience, and reputation within the fiber optics industry will provide opportunities for Timbercon to grow in some key market segments," states John J. Lee Jr., Vice President of Sales for Timbercon.

Mr. Pitts joins Timbercon after serving as North American Sales Manager for Suncall America, a leading supplier of fiber optic components. Previously, Mr. Pitts held the position of West Coast Account Executive with FiberSource.
