Timbercon Adds Several Talents to Sales and Marketing

LAKE OSWEGO, OR — March 25, 2008 — Timbercon, Inc., a fiber optic product and solution manufacturing company, today announced several promotions in and additions to the Sales and Marketing departments.

Renee Larson, Inside Sales Associate
Larson has been with Timbercon since 2005 and has held positions in both Sales and Finance. Prior to Timbercon, she was with Avalanche Ranch Light Co. in Bellingham, Washington. Larson graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Western Washington University in 2000.

Teresa de. Benavides, Inside Sales Associate
Benavides has been with Timbercon since 2007 and received both Law and a Masters Degree in European Law from Universidad San Pablo Madrid in 1996. Prior to Timbercon, Benavides spent 4 years as a Customer Account Analyst at Blackwell's in Lake Oswego, Oregon and Oxford, England. She is fluent in Spanish, Italian and French. Benavides is a member of the Alliance Francaise de Paris and Insituto di Cultura Italiano di Milano.

Josh Jaster, Inside Sales Associate
Jaster, an alumnus of Oregon State University, held the webmaster position at Timbercon from 1999 to 2002. He brings his experience in technical marketing, sales and network/data administration back to Timbercon. Jaster was previously employed at Barhyte Specialty Foods as a marketing project coordinator, where he was responsible for tradeshows and other external marketing efforts. Prior to Barhyte, Jaster was employed at Synthetech, Inc., where he worked on network and data administration as well as technical marketing efforts.

Rebekah Fleshman, Marketing Specialist
Prior to Timbercon, Fleshman was with Nautilus, Inc. headquartered in Vancouver, Washington as a Marketing Coordinator. Fleshman's background includes retail and direct marketing as well as media development and production. She received her Bachelor of Arts in 2004 from Portland State University and is pursuing a Masters in Business Administration focused in marketing as well.

Austin McPherson, Inside Sales Associate
McPherson received his Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Richmond University in 2007. McPherson's background is in Journalism and Communications which includes work with Fox Sports Network, Fly Rod & Reel magazine, and The Collegian newspaper.

Toni Ware, Inside Sales Associate
Ware received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama in 2003. She has spent the last 3 years with Nokia USA as a Territory Sales Representative. Ware has experience in both marketing and sales with a focus on customer account support and developing new market opportunities.

Timbercon continues to focus on the delivery of first class customer service and has made it an objective to grow its core talent to better meet this objective. "To ensure our continued growth we recruited talent from outside the company and evaluated internal opportunities to achieve our business objectives and enhance our customer service standards," said John Lee, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Most recently, Timbercon also announced the addition of Justin Redd, PhD, as the Director of Engineering.
