Timbercon Adds David Newell as Web Master

LAKE OSWEGO, OR - May 24, 2007 — Timbercon, Inc., a fiber optic product and solution manufacturing company providing a vast array of connectivity solutions, today announced the appointment of David Newell to the position of web master for the company. Newell will be tasked with the development, creation and management of web, electronic and printed information and media.

Newell brings 10 years of experience in project management, business development, consulting and web development. "David's knowledge and experience will be of great value as Timbercon moves forward,. said Sean Gitt, director of marketing for Timbercon. .His expertise will undoubtedly make him a crucial member of the Timbercon team."

Newell was previously employed at Setec Security Technologies as a project manager, directing computer forensic teams and auditing the computer systems of critical infrastructure. Prior to Setec, Newell was employed at Digitas as a senior analyst, working on the launches of multiple Fortune 500 websites including FedEx.com, AmericanExpress.com, llbean.com, Aetna.com.

An alumnus of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Newell is currently the co-president of the MIT alumni club of Oregon and SW Washington. Newell was also a candidate for the Oregon State Senate in 2006.
