TIMBERCON APPOINTS RENEE RABER TO THE POSITION OF ACCOUNT MANAGER FOR TELECOMMUNICATIONS AND SPECIALTY PRODUCTS

LAKE OSWEGO, OR - March 21, 2005
Today, Timbercon, Inc. announced the appointment of Ms. Renee Raber as Account Manager for the telecommunications industry and ribbon fiber products for the company. Ms. Raber will be tasked with business development, account management, customer base diversification, and market share growth in these industries. Additionally, she will be responsible for managing Timbercon.s new Chicago Sales office.

Ms. Raber brings to Timbercon over 8 years of experience in sales, marketing, and international trade. "Renee's expertise and technical knowledge about fiber optic technologies and the fiber industry will provide an invaluable basis for further expanding Timbercon's presence and market share with ribbon fiber and the telecommunications industry," states John J. Lee Jr., Vice President of Sales for Timbercon. "Her experience, expertise, and network base will provide Timbercon with the kind of resources required to further expand and develop these markets. I'm very confident that Renee will be an invaluable member of the Timbercon team."

Ms. Raber joins Timbercon after serving as Sales Manager/Product Manager for Stratos Lightwave, a leading supplier of fiber optic components and assemblies. Previously, she held Account Executive and Export Manager positions with USF Worldwide and Hoogwegt U.S. respectively.
