K band

A portion of the electromagnetic spectrum in the Microwave region of frequencies ranging between 12 and 93 gigahertz (GHz). The 18-40 GHz range is used for radar and general communications. The 12-18 GHz region is used for SATELLITE communications. (Source: Rich Irish)
