FDM
See Frequency Division Multiplexing. Method by which the available Transmission frequency range is
divided into narrower bands, each used for a separate channel. As utilized by Broadband technology,
the frequency spectrum is divided up among discrete channels, to allow one user or a set of users
access to single channels.
