Dynamic Range
In a Transmission system, the ratio of the overload level to the Noise level of the system, usually
expressed in decibels. The ratio of the specified maximum level of a parameter (e.g., power, voltage,
frequency, or floating point number representation) to its minimum detectable or positive value, usually
expressed in decibels.
