Reporting to: Production Manager
General Responsibilities:
- Follow established assembly instructions without deviation to assemble products
- Maintain a minimum standard quota (time and/or piece count) for a given job assignment
- Comply with all Timbercon policies and procedures
- Comply with all safety requirements
- Obtain intermediate level understanding of the names of tools used in assembly and their use.
- Obtain Beginner level component identification and product knowledge
- Keep work area clean and orderly
- Maintain accurate timecard and comply with attendance policy
- Perform all tasks accurately and thoroughly to provide quality product
- Report to Production Lead and/or production management any irregularities pertaining to daily goals, quality, or delays
- Assist Engineering with special projects and new product/process implementation
- Use basic problem solving skills to identify problems and act appropriately to solve them and initiate constructive change
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications:
- Good manual dexterity.
- Basic English skills-must be able to communicate clearly verbally and in writing
- Ability to reason and analyze.
- Basic math skills. (Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division)
- Basic blueprint interpretation
Other Requirements:
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods
- Physical: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to bend, squat, sit, stand, walk, use fine finger movement (manual dexterity) and handle objects. The employee is occasionally required to push/pull and reach above shoulder level. The employee must be able to carry/lift 25 pounds.
- Environmental: On the job the employee may encounter temperature variations (cold/hot/climate changes), chemical agents, and have contact with water/liquids. Moderate to loud noise level is typical for the work environment for this job.
