Arrayed Waveguide Grating

An array of curved Planar Waveguides that separates many optical channels at once. Also called Waveguide Array. A device, built with silicon planar lightwave circuits (PLC), that allows multiple wavelengths to be combined and separated in a Multiplexing (DWDM)">Dense Wavelength-Division Multiplexing (DWDM) system.
