Timbercon is an industry leader in ruggedized fiber optic solutions for the defense/government, industrial, data storage, test & measurement, broadband, telecommunications, medical, and networking industries. Headquartered in Lake Oswego, Oregon, Timbercon has 65 employees with manufacturing, research and development, sales, and marketing activities based at the corporate headquarters.

Founded in 1997, Timbercon, Inc. is a privately owned corporation, funded through profitable company performance and employee based stock holder investment. Past and future expansion has been, and continues to be systematic in nature and directly tied to its strategic business plan.

Timbercon originated as Timberline Connectivity, a domestic supplier of SCSI cabling and other copper based connectivity products. In 2000, with the rise in demand for fiber optic cabling solutions, Timbercon instituted a paradigm shift focusing present and future resources on the development and manufacturing of fiber optic products.

Since 2000, Timbercon has significantly broadened its fiber optic product offering and increased its visibility in the marketplace through availability of precision built, ruggedized products geared towards providing solutions for application specific requirement, in addition to its standard fiber optic products.

Today, fiber optic products are Timbercon’s core business and account for more than 90 percent of its annual revenue. Looking forward, Timbercon plans to leverage its position with expanded and further diversified product lines, increased market visibility with additional internal resources, and an extended customer base through strategic industry alliances.
